This week Samsung's own Daraz store has the A07 well under that, from PKR 35,499. Both phones are PTA-approved out of the box, so there is no tax and no non-PTA version to weigh. The same 6.7-inch size and 5,000 mAh battery as the A07, but a sharper AMOLED screen, a stabilised main camera, an ultra-wide, a 13MP selfie camera and NFC. The 4G model comes in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB; the 5G model only in 8GB/256GB.

Samsung's price, Daraz's price, and the shops between
Samsung Pakistan's site sets the list price. Samsung's own store on Daraz is running the A07 at 23% off: PKR 35,499 against PKR 45,999 for the base model. Shophive, Carrefour (also on Daraz) and Mega.pk sit in between; Mega.pk has the A07 4GB/64GB at PKR 41,999. On the A17 the order flips: Shophive's 8GB/256GB at PKR 75,999 is PKR 19,000 under Samsung's price and PKR 9,000 under Mega.pk's. Jazz eStore sells only the A17 5G, at PKR 94,999, PKR 5,000 under Samsung's figure.
Why the A07 costs 67% more than at launch
The A07 went on pre-order here in October 2025 at PKR 27,500 for 4GB/64GB and the A17 at PKR 54,999 for 6GB/128GB. Samsung raised prices more than once in 2026, starting in January and February, and by 22 October 2026 its own site lists PKR 45,999 and PKR 72,999. Samsung Pakistan has not given a reason. When Samsung raised the same two phones in Malaysia in July 2026, it blamed memory chip demand from AI data centres.
A07 or A17, and 4G or 5G
At Samsung's prices the 6GB A07 (PKR 68,500) is only PKR 4,499 short of the 6GB A17 (PKR 72,999), and the A17 is the better phone in every way that shows: screen, cameras, NFC. Buy the A07 in 4GB/64GB or 4GB/128GB if the budget is tight, or step up to the A17. At the Daraz sale prices the gap is PKR 15,700, about PKR 1,900 a month on a 10-month Oraan plan.
The A17 5G adds a faster Exynos 1330 chip and 4K video for PKR 5,000 more at Samsung's price; at Mega.pk the 4G and 5G 8GB/256GB both cost PKR 84,999, and the cheapest 4G 8GB/256GB anywhere is PKR 75,999. Jazz and Zong switched on 5G in March 2026 in the big cities only. If the two cost the same, take the 5G; if not, the 4G is fine for most people.
Older models, and whether to wait for the A08 and A18
The A06 and A16 are still on Samsung Pakistan's site, but with no price, and neither Samsung's Daraz store nor Mega.pk sells them; the older model is not a real option new. Samsung announced the A08 and A18 on 5 October 2026: a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED on the A18, a 6,000 mAh battery on the A08, six OS upgrades on both. Neither has a Pakistani price or date. If you need a phone now, buy the A07 or A17.
Bank plans versus Oraan
If you have a credit card, Jazz eStore's plan is hard to beat: the A17 5G at PKR 94,999 becomes 10 payments of PKR 9,610, PKR 96,100 in all, with no processing fee. That is less than Oraan's PKR 114,949 on the same phone. Bank Alfalah's version through Jazz adds a 24% processing fee on 12 months. Without a card, QistBazaar's 12-month A07 4GB/64GB plan repays PKR 71,300 including the PKR 8,900 advance, and its A17 8GB/256GB plan PKR 127,950 against Samsung's PKR 94,999, with two guarantors. QistBazaar raised both in September and October; in August the same phones were advertised for less.
Oraan's plan needs no credit card, runs 10 or 5 months with one fixed service fee, and the amount is fixed at approval: the A07 4GB/64GB at PKR 45,999 repays PKR 55,659 over 10 months, or PKR 42,954 on the Daraz sale price, against QistBazaar's PKR 71,300. Apply for instalments. How it works.

Samsung Pakistan lists the Galaxy A07 at PKR 45,999 for 4GB/64GB, PKR 56,999 for 4GB/128GB and PKR 68,500 for 6GB/128GB, as of 22 October 2026. Samsung's own store on Daraz had them on sale at PKR 35,499, PKR 41,899 and PKR 50,299 the same day. All are PTA-approved.
What is the Samsung A17 price in Pakistan?
PKR 72,999 for the 6GB/128GB and PKR 94,999 for the 8GB/256GB on Samsung Pakistan's site, and PKR 99,999 for the A17 5G (8GB/256GB only). Is there a Samsung A07 8GB/256GB, an A07 5G or an A17 12GB/256GB in Pakistan?
No. Samsung Pakistan sells the A07 only as 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB, all 4G, and the A17 as 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB in 4G plus one 8GB/256GB 5G model. There is no A07 5G, A07 8GB/256GB, A17 8GB/128GB or A17 12GB/256GB on Samsung's site, its Daraz store or Mega.pk as of 22 October 2026; a listing for one is either a different phone or a typo.
Is the Samsung A07 PTA approved?
Yes. Every A07 and A17 sold through Samsung Pakistan, its Daraz store, Carrefour, Mega.pk and Jazz eStore is PTA-approved, so there is no tax to pay and no non-PTA version worth looking for. If you buy one second-hand, check the IMEI on DIRBS before paying.
Is the Samsung A18 or A08 available in Pakistan?
Not yet. Samsung announced both in early October 2026, but Samsung Pakistan's site does not list them as of 22 October 2026. WhatMobile's "expected" prices of Rs 44,999 for the A08 and Rs 69,999 for the A18 are guesses, not Samsung figures.
Can I buy the Samsung A07 or A17 on instalments?
Yes, anywhere in Pakistan, Karachi and Lahore included. On Oraan's plan the A07 4GB/64GB at Samsung's PKR 45,999 is about PKR 5,566 a month over 10 months, and the A17 6GB/128GB about PKR 8,833. With a credit card, Jazz eStore splits the A17 5G into 10 payments of PKR 9,610 with no fee. QistBazaar needs no card: PKR 5,200 a month for 12 months on the A07 4GB/64GB after a PKR 8,900 advance, PKR 71,300 in all.
