Do MCB Nayab Visa Debit Card discounts work on foodpanda or online orders?

Only some. 1 of the 110 deals on this card are also valid on online orders, marked "online too" on the row. The rest are for paying with the card at the restaurant.

Do I need the physical card?

Carry it to be safe. The banks name the card a deal is for, not how you pay with it. Whether a phone wallet tap or a virtual card counts is up to the bank and the restaurant. Cash never gets the discount.
